Influenced by the shingle-style houses of architects McKim, Mead, and White, this home welcomes you as you ascend its hill in Wilton, CT. The style allowed JMKA | architects to create the look of a series of small buildings, as opposed to one large one, which gives the house a more comfortable scale. The structure is more than just its nine bedrooms, though. It is home to a sports memorabilia room, a wine cellar, a full-size basketball court with a climbing wall, and a home movie theater complete with a 1950’s retro concession area.
